The hill behind the centre is on the route of the Viking Way, a recognised long distance footpath running from Rutland Water to the Humber. The views across the Ancholme valley to Lincoln Cathedral and towards the Humber Bridge are outstanding.
The village is surrounded by farmland and natural woodland and has a playing field within easy walking distance of the Centre.
